Korean aging: begin with a record

Imagine the next use

What might happen when well-travelled oak meets another spirit? Our Korean-aging project opens that conversation. The photograph here comes from the brand’s Scottish distillery archive, not an operating Korean facility or a completed maturation result.

Write down the character you hope to explore, then describe the starting spirit and the references you will use. This turns a broad ambition into questions that can be reviewed.

A small trial with a clear comparison

Define the questions before planning a pilot. Use consistent sample references, review dates and observation notes. Feasible procedures and responsibilities must be agreed with the people managing the spirit and facility.

  • How will the starting point be described?
  • What will be compared, and when?
  • Who will manage the samples and records?
  • What would justify the next step?

Separate plans from confirmed news

This introduction does not establish a maturation period, facility, release quantity or launch date. Those depend on the project and its agreed conditions.
